October 12 - 14th, 2012, Leah leads a Yoga Playgrounds Training at the Yoga Works in Walnut Creek, CA, just outside San Francisco. Anyone with a yoga practice who works/play/loves children is welcome. Learn how to translate yoga philosophy, tools and techniques into a playground of fun, nurturing and empowering practices for children.
Leah Kalish, MA is a recognized expert and national speaker dedicated to health and empowerment through yoga and creative play. She has taught at Omega, Kripalu and Esalen and authored many successful yoga-based curricula and products for companies such as Yoga Ed., Barefoot Books, Gaiam and School Specialty. Her work has been featured in Yoga Journal, Yoga Plus, Vanity Fair and Integral Yoga Magazine. She now produces her own play-based educational resources for young children through her company Move with Me Action Adventures (move-with-me.com).
